Master of Lore Terms of Service

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in Master of Lore ("Master of Lore," "we," or "us") and our artificial intelligence-powered RPG platform (the "Platform") and website at www.masteroflore.com, along with our related websites, hosted applications, mobile or other downloadable applications, and services provided by us (collectively, the "Service"). These Terms of Service are a legally binding contract between you and Master of Lore regarding your use of the Service.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS CAREFULLY:

By clicking “I Accept,” or by downloading, installing, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree that you have read and understood, and, as a condition to your use of the Service, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including Master of Lore’s Privacy Policy (together, these "Terms").

If you are not eligible or do not agree to the Terms, then you do not have our permission to use the Service. Your use of the Service and Master of Lore’s provision of the Service to you constitutes an agreement by Master of Lore and by you to be bound by these Terms.

ARBITRATION NOTICE:

Except for certain disputes described in Section 20 (Dispute Resolution and Arbitration), you agree that disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration. BY ACCEPTING THESE TERMS, YOU AND MASTER OF LORE WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY OR TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS ACTION OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

1. Master of Lore service overview

Master of Lore provides users with access to a dynamic RPG platform featuring AI-driven storytelling and gameplay experiences. Users can explore worlds, engage in campaigns, and interact with the AI Game Master, which facilitates, narrates, and referees the game by providing outputs ("Outputs") based on user inputs ("Inputs").

2. Artificial intelligence disclaimer

Master of Lore leverages advanced AI technology to provide features of the Platform, including the AI Game Master. You acknowledge that the AI is experimental and subject to unpredictable results. The Outputs generated by the AI Game Master may include errors, omissions, or content that is inaccurate, fictional, or unexpected. By using the Service, you agree to assume all risks related to the accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness of AI-generated Outputs. Master of Lore is not liable for any content generated by the AI Game Master.

3. No professional advice

The AI Game Master and Outputs provided are for entertainment purposes only and are not substitutes for professional advice. Do not rely on the Service for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that:
(a) You are at least 18 years old;
(b) You have not been suspended or removed from the Service; and
(c) Your registration and use of the Service comply with applicable laws and regulations.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind them to these Terms.

5. Accounts and registration

To access the Service, you must register for an account. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at support@masteroflore.gg.

6. General payment terms

Some features of the Service may require fees. Payment terms are as follows:

  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
  • We use a third-party payment processor, and payments are subject to their terms.
  • Subscription fees will renew automatically unless canceled.

7. Free trial

New users may access a limited Free Trial to experience the Platform. During the Free Trial, certain features may be restricted, and access may be limited. Once the Free Trial expires, access to any data or progress from the trial may be lost.

8. Licenses and restrictions

Master of Lore grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

9. Ownership and intellectual property

All content, design, and technology associated with the Service are the property of Master of Lore or its licensors. You may not use the Service’s materials except as explicitly permitted.

10. User content

Users may submit content (e.g., Inputs, gameplay data) to the Service. By doing so, you grant Master of Lore the right to use, modify, and share your content as needed to operate and improve the Service.

11. Communications and feedback

By using the Service, you consent to receive electronic communications from us. You may provide feedback, and Master of Lore reserves the right to use it without compensation to you.

12. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Master of Lore disclaims all warranties, and we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the Service.

13. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal activities.
  • Harass or harm other users.
  • Reverse-engineer or misuse the AI Game Master.
  • Post content that is unlawful, offensive, or violates others’ rights.

14. Termination

Master of Lore may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may also terminate your account by contacting support.

15. Dispute resolution

All disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except for certain exceptions outlined in Section 20.
